Debbie Gibson gives us a surprise message and video to celebrate 30 years of Anything Is Possible
Brooklyn in the house! Celebrating 30 Years of the “Anything is Possible” album with this one-take late-night live version of one of my faves produced by the OG Fred Zarr! Still love this song so much and it’s message about keeping your dreams alive and standing up for one another.
Sending it out to all of you who supported my journey as this album found me finding myself as a 20-year-old songwriter, artist, producer, and woman. Transitions aren’t always tied up in neat little bows and the label was actually disappointed when it sold “only” over half a million copies and was certified gold. I was thrilled that so many embraced what was a kind of eclectic album for its time. Working with Lamont Dozier was a dream come true, and this tour leads me to my Broadway dream of doing Les Miserables – Musical on Broadway when Richard Jay-Alexander witnessed the audience response to “On My Own” live in Cali. Ira Siegel on guitar, my live band Kirk, Adam, and the gang, Fonzi and his incredible bevy of Divas and so many talented musicians/friends graced this project. And, of course, Buddy Casimano graced the AIP vid and stage with his incomparable choreography! Ray Garcia, Cynthia, and all of the dancers … muah 💋 I hope you enjoy this at-home performance as much as I enjoyed doing it for you! Always remember … “There is a world full of endless resources. There is a mind full of outrageous dreams. There is a place where the two meet. Anything is possible!” Did I get that right? 😉 it’s been a hot minute! Thank you #debheads for this ongoing incredible journey! Mixed by Sean Thomas🔥❤️
