The Hooters have released the following update about their new tour plans, new website, and more:
Dear Hooterized Fans and Friends,
First and foremost, we hope everyone is doing well during these challenging times — it’s certainly been a difficult and unprecedented year. We had high hopes of celebrating our 40th anniversary in 2020, but unfortunately that all changed almost overnight as the scope of the pandemic dramatically expanded in March. However, we remain very optimistic about better times ahead as we all continue to look for those “silver linings”…
On our end, although all of our concerts this year have been postponed, almost every “20+20” tour date has now been pushed ahead and rebooked for 2021. We thank our loyal promoters and all of the unique venues, indoor and out, for taking such quick action to reschedule the shows.
And we especially thank you, our amazing fans, as always, for your patience and support — there’s no show without you, and we certainly look forward to getting back out there and onstage again as soon as possible.
Meanwhile, in other news, we are excited to announce an all-new website coming in mid-November, with many fresh features, photos, band bios, and the premiere of a very special full-length concert movie – Live In Germany. This performance was filmed at the Rock of Ages Festival in Seebronn, Germany, July 2018. So make some popcorn, crank it up, and enjoy the show!
And until we meet again — stay safe, stay well, and stay tuned for the new site. One fine day we will all be back together and sharing the music.
All the best,
— Rob, Eric, David, John, Fran & Tommy.
