Where Are They Now?…The Cast Of The TV Show Alice

The much-loved Tv sitcom Alice was on the air until the final season in 1985. The show made a tv star of actress Linda Lavin who played the main character of Alice.  The sitcom could be actually be considered a Dramedy (hybrid drama and comedy) because it often dealt with serious life events while keeping a humorous overall tone.  The show tells the story of Alic who is a single mother, raising a pre-teen son and struggling to make a living while working at Mel’s Diner.  The show had a great cast of regular characters who worked at the restaurant, as well as customers who frequented the diner and had re-occurring roles. This is one of our saddest Where Are They Now? articles because only two of the original cast members of “Alice” are living today and almost half of the cast overall have passed away since the show ended in 1985.
